Maui Homeschool Hale grew from the homeschooling necessity during the pandemic and unveiled a sensitive, connected, attuned learning environment that is imbued with Waldorf tradition.
Teachers work closely with parents to make sure each child is seen for who they are. Together, we let the children show us what they need, and nurture that by first listening to what the moment is asking of us.

Learning journeys are designed around each child’s unique needs by following their interests, strengths, and curiosities. Through this approach, the hunger for knowledge is stoked, creating a passion for life-long learning.
With her belief and approach to simplifying life to it’s most natural and beautiful elements, founder Aria Thomases has designed a family-focused, responsive, and organized homeschooling method that began in a spacious and natural rain forest farm setting.

Maui Homeschool Hale
We believe that every child is unique and deserves an attuned education that is tailored to them so that they may thrive. Together, parents and teachers hold space for the children to unfold and expand, experiencing more and more self-attunement, self-trust, confidence, and faith in the world.
Your child will have the same teachers in the elementary grades which are critically formative for their next step into middle school. This allows a deep understanding of each child’s development and progressions, with the teacher acting as a guide to nurture & grow each child, while also fostering a close-knit community between teacher, child and family.
We meet each child where they are, here and now, at the right time. Every child is unique with their own flame— we fan that flame, growing and balancing them and their choices as we cultivate the imagination and eye for discovery. Collectively and collaboratively, parents and teachers hold onto your child’s education.
Outcomes
The Waldorf method has proven to promote compassionate, creative problem solvers and critical thinkers who can see the big picture and are “life-ready” individuals. They are likely to become creatives, entrepreneurs and possess a high probability to go onto higher education. We set up their passion for lifelong learning.
